What Do You Look Like: Day 2 of the Big Brand Challenge

The second day of the Big Brand Challenge is all about covering your face. You will be dressed as a brand and tasked with taking selfies to show what you look like today, tomorrow and next week.

The “Brand Challenge Examples” is a challenge that was created by the “Big Brand Challenge”. The goal of this challenge is to create a brand campaign that uses social media.

The Big Brand Challenge is already on its second day.

On the first day, we established who we are. Now we need to figure out what we look like. We may then go on to:

Remove your worksheet from yesterday and go through your answers again. The pictures you choose start to establish how your brand will seem to the rest of the world. However, you must develop a brand guide in order to have a clear picture of what this would include.

Consider building your brand in the same way you would a dating profile. If you’ve carefully selected your clothing, cleaned your teeth, and bathed, your date is more likely to go well. Dates with your consumers will be far more likely to go well after you’ve established your brand with colors, fonts, pictures, and personality.

On Day 2, you’ll focus on answering some important questions regarding your “look.” Let’s get this party started.

What are your physical characteristics?

1st Exercise:

Define your color palette.

What is your motivation for doing this?

Colors are used to express feelings. Refer to the worksheet “Who Am I?” Choose colors that complement each other and express who you are.

If you’re “corporate,” for example, dark blue could be one of your hues. If you’re a “growth” person, you may want to go with green. Choose at least two supporting colors and two dominating colors. Click this link to learn more about color psychology.

2nd Exercise:

Select your typefaces.

What is your motivation for doing this?

Fonts have the ability to express emotion. For headlines, use a more distinctive font, while for body text and business papers, use a more simple style. Font Squirrel is a great source for online fonts that are simple to download.

3rd Exercise:

Select your pictures.

What is your motivation for doing this?

Emotion is conveyed via images. These should ideally be professional photographs of you, your goods, and your satisfied customers. There are also a number of free (and reasonably priced) internet stock picture sites. Unsplash, iStock, and MorgueFile are some of our favorites.

4th Exercise:

Make a note of it in your brand guide.

What are you doing?

For your brand, you’ll need a road map. Choose a platform that is simple to use (Word, Powerpoint, Pinterest). Include a color sheet with the HEX, CMYK, and RGB values to record your colors. These will come in handy for a variety of online and offline situations. These days, you can’t simply tell someone they’re “blue.”

Also, keep track of the fonts—what they’re called, what they look like, and when they should be used.

Use only pictures that you have permission to use.

Bringing today’s work to a close

Use these brand standards on a regular basis. If anything isn’t quite right, customers will notice. They may not recognize you, or worse, they may believe their confidence has been betrayed.

With individuals you don’t know, a brand builds trust.
